Are you thinking of organising a musical show? I am Bappadeep, I am a cocktail singer. I perform different kinds of songs on stage. My range extends from songs of Kishore Kumar, Md. Raffi, Mukesh , Manna Dey etc to the songs of newest singers like Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Kumar Shanu, Abhijit, KK, Jit Ganguly etc. I also sing songs from new, old Hindi and Bengali films.

Importance of music in my life
I find everything musical from the very morning till the time I fall asleep at night.The hammering of the carpenter,the cheer of the school goers,the chirp of the birds and even the fight between the two friends seems to be in a definite rhythm and melody to me.Music, I feel is the best medicine for every disease.Wheather its a lack of energy,physical weakness or a mental dillemma, music has the power to overcome all.Whenever I am in a pensive mood, I take shelter of my best friend, music.
Sometimes I find people thinking over matters again and again,thoughts of which might bring tears to their eyes.But I personally feel,whenever your heart is filled with heavy thoughts and river full of tears, the best option to get out of the situation is,just listen to music. Not necessarily sad or slow numbers but preferebly the happy tones which might help to change your mood.
I am a professional singer myself.But music is not just a profession to me.Its my first love.I think I will live till music exists in this earth.I do not keep myself bound into a particular genre of music.I love singing old melodies of Kishore Kumar, Md. Raffi,Manna dey,Mukesh etc while at the same time I love singing new songs of Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Abhijit,Shaan,Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and songs from new hindi and bengali films.
